People’s Political Party (Meeyamgi Leingak Lup)
The People’s Political Party (Meeyamgi Leingak Lup) was born out of the urgent need to bring true change, justice, and development to the land and people of Manipur. Rooted in the spirit of the indigenous people and guided by the voice of the masses, our party stands as a movement of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Manipur, despite its rich cultural heritage and strategic importance as a border state, continues to face serious challenges — from socio-political instability to economic underdevelopment and lack of effective governance. For too long, the voices of the people have remained unheard and unresolved.
We believe that the future of Manipur must be shaped by its own people. A centralized political system has often failed to understand the realities, traditions, and aspirations of our land. Therefore, Meeyamgi Leingak Lup emerges as a regional force dedicated to building a government that truly represents local voices and protects indigenous identity.
